Property accuracy policy

Presentation may be improved. The property may never be changed.

Last updated 24 August 2026

The principle

A prepared photograph must show the same property, in the same condition, at the same size, with the same features as the original photograph.

Never changed

Truth Lock treats the following as fixed.

  • Room dimensions and layout
  • Walls, ceilings and floors
  • Windows, doors and their counts
  • Radiators, sockets, switches and stairs
  • Fixed storage, worktops, sanitaryware and fixed appliances
  • Fireplaces and permanent fittings
  • Boundaries, views, neighbouring buildings and permanent landscaping
  • Visible defects

Disclosure labels

Where an edit materially alters the appearance of a photograph, a disclosure label is applied and travels with the export package.

  • Virtual staging: furniture and decoration added digitally.
  • Decluttering: removable items removed digitally.
  • Sky replacement: the sky has been replaced.
  • Seasonal or lighting change: time of day or season presented differently.

When a check fails

The edit is retried with stronger preservation rules. If it still cannot pass, the output is flagged, reserved credits are released, the original stays selected and the reason is explained.

A flagged output cannot be included in an export package.

Records

Every result records the recipe, provider, model, prompt version, requester, reviewer, approval time and the Truth Lock outcome. Originals are never overwritten.
