Property accuracy policy

The principle

An edited photo must show the same property, in the same condition, at the same size, with the same features as the original.

Never changed

Truth Lock treats the following as fixed.

• Room dimensions and layout
• Walls, ceilings and floors
• Windows, doors and their counts
• Radiators, sockets, switches and stairs
• Fixed storage, worktops, sanitaryware and fixed appliances
• Fireplaces and permanent fittings
• Boundaries, views, neighbouring buildings and permanent landscaping
• Visible defects

Digital edit labels

Pixetra provides digital edit labels for the edits that change how a room is presented. They are off by default, you can switch them on for a property, and owners and administrators can make them required so every image the team produces carries one.

Where a label is applied it is added to the exported photo and stays with it in your download.

• Virtual staging: furniture and decoration added digitally.
• Decluttering: removable items removed digitally.
• Sky replacement: the sky has been replaced.
• Seasonal or lighting change: time of day or season presented differently.

When a check fails

The edit is retried with stronger preservation rules. If it still cannot pass, the output is flagged, reserved credits are released, the original stays selected and the reason is explained.

A flagged output cannot be included in an export package.

Records

Every edited photo keeps a record of the changes used, who asked for them, who approved them, when, and the outcome of its accuracy checks. Your originals are never overwritten.
